However when you want to say 'I love you' to someone you love (your family, your lover etc), would you say it loudly like opera? You would use your sweetest voice, which is not loud at all. Of course sometimes we express passion with powerful voice, but not all the time.
By using proper microphone techniques you can make beautiful contrasts between powerful voice and soft voice so that you'll be able to sing with emotions to touch the hearts of many.
